Happy Cow Cafe: Delicious Coffee and Friendly Service in Columbia, KY

Perfect meat lover omelet, great coffee and friendly service. Not a huge amount of seating but enough if you go early. Cow tail fries are a must side order. Good selection of milk alternatives.

I love this place so so so much! I come and get a coffee every time I go to Columbia. I look forward to going because they have the best coffee I've ever had! The staff is so nice, warm and friendly I can't say I have ever had a bad experience here or a bad coffee. This place is definitely worth it, if you love delicious coffee and great food do not skip this one!

I'm not sure how I have missed this place, oh my they have the best blended frozen coffees, I've been there 3 days in a row now. I ordered the happy cow mocha blended, it is so good!!! The staff is very friendly, there is a wait for your drink, but that's to be expected, they have to be made while you wait, so it was no big deal, it's worth the wait. This is a very clean Cafe. I haven't tried any food but I definitely recommend the Happy Cow Mocha!!!

Trifecta! Friendly service, great food, and cool vibes. I loved the perfect coffee and wide variety on the menu with some entrees leaning toward the healthy side. One caution: the omelets are more of a quiches (not pure egg)—quite tasty, but so be aware. We visited twice on a weekend road trip. Highly recommended.

I usually love this place and my parents and I traveled 25 mins just to eat lunch there together. We were seated and promptly greeted and our drink order was taken. However, we sat there for at least 15 minutes and we did not get our drinks. Our server was at the front serving a group, but there were still several other people on the floor. She came and got another tables food order beside us (they had gotten there shortly after us and had not gotten their drinks yes either). We still had no drinks. I told my parents we would wait five more minutes to see if we would get our drinks, but we never did. We ended up leaving and no one said anything to us. This occurred on Monday June 29th around 1pm. I also want to say I have a ton of empathy and patience for those that work in the food service industry as I have also been in that business for 10 years but this was a little ridiculous. The resturaunt was not slammed, but there were two other tables in there that had arrived shortly after us and they still had not gotten their drinks either. I love this little place and I love supporting local, but honestly I don’t know when I will be back because the service was handled terribly.

Iced white mocha was delicious! My husband liked his caramel macchiato and toast with egg, meat, and avocado (not sure what the menu name was for his breakfast item). I also ordered the fried chicken biscuit. I received what looked and tasted like a non-quality frozen chicken patty that tasted like it was just warmed up in the microwave. I would come back for the coffee.

Great time today at Happy Cow Café! The pick-two is my favorite. 1/2 Caesar salad, 1/2 Grilled chicken tortellini! Extremely calming & fun atmosphere, would be great for business meetings & a nice coffee date!
